If you live in a remote or rural area of Scotland and have pulmonary fibrosis (PF), speak to others in a similar situation at the Scottish Rural Network meetings.

What is the Scottish Rural Network?

When you live in a particularly remote or rural area and are living with pulmonary fibrosis, it can sometimes feel quite isolating, and it's often difficult to travel to your closest support group. This is an online group where those living in remote or rural communities across Scotland can get together, share their experiences, learn from each other and support each other.

What happens during a meeting?

A large part of each meeting will be a chance to discuss things together about all aspects of pulmonary fibrosis. There will be an APF staff member present to facilitate the meeting, but the discussions will be guided by the group members. You're welcome to join in the discussions or just come along and listen.

Unless otherwise agreed, each meeting will have an arranged speaker who will talk about living well with PF. This may be about diet, pulmonary rehabilitation, talking to your family about PF, looking after your mental health or any other topics that are important to you.
